According to Swedish newspaper Expressen there might be a chance that E-type will participate in the Swedish national selection of the Eurovision Song Contest - also known as Melodifestivalen (Schlager SM). Nothing is decided yet though but Expressen writes that 28 entries are already selected to participate in the 4 semifinals taking place in Karlstad, Göteborg, Umeå and Malmö - 7 in each city, BUT as something new this year Melodifestivalen has decided to bring in a "Joker" at each semifinal and among the people SVT are negotiating with - according to Expressen - are E-type, Carola and Magnus Uggla. If the negotiations go well we might see E-type at the Melodifestivalen which will take place between February 21st and March 13th depending on which semifinal he then will enter.

Will we see E-type perform a song for Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turkey? Only time will tell - if he enters the contest. We will keep you informed when we know more!
