Today it was known to the people of our partner-website www.etype.nl that E-type will release a new single sometime next year. A future album will then be released shortly after. (This news has been edited as we at first was told the single would come by september 2006 and the album by november, but unfortunately the dates are not official yet so that's why it is all a bit uncertain. We apologize for any inconvenience)

In addition to the above news our colleagues at E-typeportalen had a collection for a 40-year birthday present for E-type a while back. Yesterday it was time for the present to be given to E-type in Stockholm. A report of this event will be online at www.etype.nl shortly and more information will also be available soon at E-typeportalen (in Swedish). In that connection Danny at www.etype.nl had a short talk with E-type who is doing really great. E-type is about to set up his studio and should be ready to start focusing on the new album in a few weeks. Also the work on his 2nd book is coming along nicely as well.
