The beginning of the year was dominated by several monthly polls which were more or less active in the voting. As to additions there were the report + photos from the awesome Release Party of Loud Pipes Save Lives but also huge updates of tour photos from the Loud Pipes Save Lives tour in the summer. At our 6 year anniversary we saw the webmaster's result of nearly 2 months of work with video editing as we released our new official www.etype.dk promotion video.
This year we unfortunately were very busy with all sorts of things so the updates were very few, but the ones we had involved the Euro Metal Tour 2003 as we put a lot of photos online as well as a few diaries which can be read in the "Tour"-section.
The biggest things that happened around www.etype.dk in the year 2002 were all the tour photo and tour diary additions we had during the Tour IV Ever. During this tour we also signed out a competition to determine E-type's live band's name which gave a lot of nice answers to that :) Other than that it was a pretty quiet year concerning updates - mostly caused by lack of time by the crew. Hope things gets better next year
2001 was a year with lots of additions to the site and new members of the crew. Firstly - among the things that were added were all the videos, the Danish & Swedish version of the site, the Community and lots of other things. Also after the Release Party of the new album, we added a detailed report of the happenings there.
This is the year where we added this design to the page which has been the most successful design ever. The year 2000 was also a year where we added a lot of news rather than updates but we also had a lot of chat-events in 2000 which were more or less a success. In 2000 we also had the first ever held E-type weekend in Holland!
The year of which we had 3 different redesigns in 6 months. It was also the year where the site became bigger and bigger for each week. The webmaster were updating the site at least 3-4 times a week. It was a great and fun time as we were just in the start-up fase of the site at that particular point in time! But our continuous updating also gave us the opportunity to become official which we had never thought was possible from the start, so that gave us a major kick in the right direction!
Aahh, the beginning! The webmaster remembers it like it was yesterday. A very simple design and lots of lyrics and picture-updates back then. He was also very happy about having 2.000 visitors in 1 month. He would probably laugh at it now since we at present have over 1.000 visitors a week! But it was a great way of starting up - had never expected people to be so interested in the site at that point in time!
