What does everyone think of this song? I think it is probably my favorite right now, that and also Camilla and the Predator, and the Original You also kinda grew on me and If Heaven were to fall is kinda bubblegum but very sweet.
But, does anyone know what the french words mean? It is something about his life and a dream....
Any help?
Thanks + God Bless,
Heather :) |

Yeah, I've been wondering as well. Just today, tried to get hold of my friends who know French, but everyone is busy nowadays. I studied french for a year, but it was a very long time ago, so I don't remember a thing.(what a shame.)
All I understand is: "I'm asking myself....Why Gods don't want to understand..." And if I'm right, the last sentence is: "And I want you to live, my life. This story is more beautiful in fantasy."
But, ... no let's put a huge BUT here, I'm probably wrong - my French is primitive. I'll ask my friends in college and will give you a correct translation on Thursday. |

Je me demande que tu fait maintenant
-I ask myself what you are doing at the moment
Je pense encore a toi
-I'm thinking of you again
pourquoi les deux ne veut pas comprendre tout ca
-why don't the two know to understant all this
et je voudrais que tu vive ma vie
-and I'd want you to live my live
l'histoire etait plus belle dans la fantasie
-the history was more beautiful in the fantasies
that is translated with my not-so-perfect french, but the meaning - I know - is quite correct :)

Finally got hold of my friend in college. (French is her native language). Here's her translation:
I am wondering what you are doing at the moment.
I am still thinking about you.
Why dont' the Gods want to understand it all?
And I'd want you to live, my life;
the story was more beautiful in fantasies.
Almost the same with Myra's translation, but there were Gods after all.
I know the Gods when I see them LOL.
;)

les deux = the two
les dieux = the Gods
Of course all depends on what she really sings in that song - "deux" or "dieux". IMHO it was "dieux"
Thanks + Dieu Bless,

Schloss:
You are correct about it... As the lyrics says "Pourquoi les dieux ne veut".
Always nice to get a little idea about the contents of the lyrics ;)

made by Kate Ryan ...
When I let people listen to this song they say:
"Hey Arjen, I recognize this song, ain't it from that girl who was also singin Desenchente? "
But its a very good song ... the best to release

The song is NOT a copy of Kate Ryans songs, but simply just in the same style/genre.
If you still feels like it is, then be my guest. Though I don't find it that way.
Copies or stolen tracks (as you call them), I could list the first few hundreds of songs which are! But I really don't mind.
Do you complain whenever the newspapers are writing the same news? Or all websites that uses the same informations?
As for music, it's hard to come up with new "tones", that don't "sounds" like something already maked. It's nearly impossible - cause there will ALWAYS be someone with some smart or apathetic comment, saying that "they" have heard it before. But who knows, if it's not only some sort of a déjà vu?! |

I just let you know that everyone says that
it sounds like the rest ...
And thats what all of this sounds like ...
It sounds like the others ...
The Explorer, Last Man Standing and Made In Sweden were E-Typish ...
Now it's "like the others" |

I don't like Dans La Fantasie, it's almost trance, and I hate trance. Sorry to say it. Good to be trance though. But the rest of the album=:) |
