Hi,
I got the promo version of Loud pipes save lives but I don't see any difference between it and the commercial one. The songs are full versions and the booklet is the same as the normal cd has. Only difference is I guess that there's a note about the ending of those songs in every song... |

The ones you have are the original ones since the promo version of Loud Pipes Save Lives only contain 7 tracks out of the 11. I don't have it myself though but I know that it is like that :) |

That's weird because I got the cd straight from the record company and there's a sticker "Promo copy, not for sale" on it. |

Well, as far as my source goes, the promo contains the following tracks:
1. Camilla
2. Paradise (feat. Na Na)
3. Dans la fantasie
4. Far Up In The Air (feat. Na Na)
5. Forever More (feat. Na Na & LG)
6. Rain
7. The Predator
But I don't own a copy of it, so I don't know how things really are :)

Once in some internet store I saw maxi single "Banca Banca" with mentioning that it was a promo release, even though the cover looked absolutely the same like the commercial one. Then I asked the webmaster if it really was a promo. He said that it was regular maxi cd but with the promo sticker on it. Why did they glued it on - I personally have no idea :) |

Suppose it could have something to do with the versions being sold in stores and the versions being sent out to the radios - and I guess both Banca Banca and Loud Pipes Save Lives "promos" were meant to be sent out to radios but somehow got sold to others - I know radios could have got the original maxi cd or album but I suppose the originals wouldn't be out until the actual release date whereas the promo stickered versions (which are identical to the originals) were sent out before the release date?
I honestly don't know but one can always make assumptions that may be more or less true as long as it's just a guess :)
