Hello there!!!
After a while I decided to go further with  FRISIAN. My good friend P>@>L (or PaLeFaCe, or however he calls himself on the i-net) and I have talked about it ... but he wouldn't go on with it becuase he is now studying in another place ... and we are not living that near by eachother as before!
And he also has not enough time to do such things!
So soon you will be able to find again on:

E-TYPE FRISIAN is older then you think ...
I guess you are not very long looking on this internet site ... because FRISIAN has been for more then a year online ... I guess from January 2000 untill February 2001 ... soooo ...
Okej ... about Frisian
I tell it now short ... for more information just mail me!
Frisian is now just a little province in the Netherlands!
Before my native had a big land:
- Denmark was the centrum of the Frisian people
- The south of Sweden belonged also to us
- The complete NORTH of Germany was from us
- Almost the complete Netherlands were also from us!
I guess you are quite stupid ... and so your friends/parents etc are ... because a lot of people do know about the FRISIAN ISLANDS on the westside of DENMARK ... that reminds us from the time that the FRISIAN were having a very big country!
Our language (Frisian) is also an official language ...
and is still spoken in a part of GERMANY, DENMARK and in my province FRYSLÂN

EEErrrmm..... Why ya making a site about E-Type..in a country that doesnt exist...(if it existed before) ????
i understand the name "Official Swedish Website of " and "Official Dannish Website"
but "Frisian" ????? that country doesnt exist...well...it seems like nobody cares of that Country anymore...except you... |

Hi.
Whithout being rude to anyone I would like ATL to be a little bit kinder to people asking in this m-board - don't call people stupid just like that!
By the way, I didn't know anything about Frisian... but I'm sure it has a better name in Swedish that I recognize.

and many many others ...

Never hear of frisian before.....and like if everybody in europe knows about it....ppss..dont think so.....

Hallo !!
In Swedish their language is called Frisiska !! I have heard of it before !! Frisian is in the Northern Netherlands where ATL lives !! My brother´s girlfriend studies in Groningen, that´s also in Frisian !!

Djablo2001. Your ignorance of something doesn't indicate not existence of that something. I see you don't even know your history properly, since Sweden was Frisian territory once.
Also, you shouldn't react on ATL's message this way. If he says he's Frisian, Frisian he is. It's his nationality and I'm sure he's proud of it as much as you are proud of being Swedish.
And about Kurdistan. There is Kurdistan, they just don't have autonomy yet, but they fight for it. Kurdi's leader Adzhalan was arested a year ago. Turkian government wanted to give him death penalty, but many people rose against it. Kurdi promised to quiet a bit if he was spared. The Union of People's Rights also protested and petitioned to give him a life sentense instead of death penalty. This became a huge issue and United Nations had to inetervene. They threatened to expel Turkey from the United Nations if Adzhalan was executed. So he was spared. But it appears that you not only don't know the history, but even don't know what's going on around the world. Not to defend ATL or something, but at least he is aware of what he's talking about. He reads, and when he doesn't know, asks and reads more. So I guess you're not right here.

in a way I agree with you. I'm sure everyone knows one's own nation and is more or less proud of it. But I think one shouldn't take it for granted that everyone else would also know it.
and about Kurdistan... about 90% of the Kurds are not fighting for an intependent state of Kurdistan. The illusion of that comes from PKK and Öcalan. They are the ones to get the publicity, and wanna know something? They are as much a terrorist organisation as Hamas or Al-Gaida. I just finished my report I did for my political studies about the Kurds and especially PKK, so I can say I've read a huge amount of material preparing for it, so I'm not making this up.
anyway, everyone can NOT know everything about everything, so maybe we can drop the subject?
I guess we should be happy there will be another -site (or a re-newed one) online, even though we wouldn't know why it's called Frisian. (and I'm sure everyone knows it by now?) I'm sure it's not the main point of the site??

Myra, I agree with you. This is not the place to talk about Frisians. The reason I posted the message at all is that I didn't like the tone of Djablo and the way he wrote. I still remember his messages about Dee and Kurdistan (for which he was banned). So I decided to enlighten him a bit. Maybe I'm wrong. He might be a great person, and just writes when he's in a bad mood, but we on the board know people only by what they have to write. (so I hope Djablo won't take offence).
I don't know much about Kurds, just little pieces of information I heard on the news channel.(I didn't even know about it until I heard that Dee was born in Kurdistan) By the way, I looked in the History Map Atlas and found Kurdistan of 15th century. And also found Frisia around 1st century (Frisian territory changes from century to century, becoming bigger, then smaller). But anyways, its time to close the subject. |
